No Shame In Loving Yourself

I used to think that self-affirmations and self-help books were stupid. Looking in the mirror and talking to yourself about who you are and who you want to be is silly.

It’s not silly. And it’s not stupid. People don’t do it enough, honestly. You can’t expect other people to love you if you don’t love yourself. Looking in the mirror and telling yourself you love YOU is not dumb, it’s powerful, and it’s not egotistical either. any kind of real success in life starts with looking in the mirror and living what you see, not just what you look like, but who you are. Your weirdness, your quirks, your dreams, goals, aspirations… they are not weird or silly, they are amazing. YOU are amazing.

All day, every day, in every way! Love yourself.
