Other People’s Drama Is Not Your Obligation

You are not obligated to hang out with someone who is overdramatic, overly critical, finding fault in everyone but themselves, throwing themselves a pity party every chance they get, constantly in a bad spot because of their own poor decisions, and unable to accept responsibility.

Their problems do not have to be your problems. You might think you are helping them out but in truth, in many cases, you are just enabling them to realize that as long as they screw up, someone will always be there to spend their own time, energy, money, and resources to rescue them.

Sometimes, NOT helping someone, is the only way to help them.
